He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Berta; his children, Bertina Papanicolaou, Melchor Martinez (Gloria), Angelica Martinez (Salomon Garcia) and Evelyn Martinez (Axel Diaz); his grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher George, Aundrea, Diana, Steven, Ariana, Samantha and Geovanny; and his siblings, Josefina Hernandez (late Baldomero), Oliva Jaramillo (late Tranquilino), Melquides (Anastacia), Pelagio (Marguerita) and Arturo (Celia).
