He is survived by: his wife Aliki Karampelas (Sitaras); his children, Mariana and P. J.; his daughter-in-law Magdalene (Marcyan); his grandson Cameron; and his siblings, Angelo Karampelas (Barbara), John Giannakopoulos (Efie) and Sofia Nikolakopoulos (Alekos). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
