It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sophie E. Kanser of Niles, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael Kanser; her children, Michael Kanser (Linda), Richard Kanser and Deborah Costanza (Carl); her grandchildren, Lynn Li (Edwin), Michael Kanser (Becka), Peter Costanza, Robert Kanser and Carol Costanza; her great grandchildren, Amber Li, Mikey and Donny Kanser; and her siblings, Joseph Cermak and Helen Cermak.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be family only visitation at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Sophie's honor to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
