He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmela II and James Malatesta II; and his brother-in-law John Charles. He is survived by: his wife Joan M.; his stepdaughters, Alison and Megan Hejna (Brian Schlenger); his sister Delphine Kosovski (Arnold); his siblings-in-law, Theresa Bolton (late Thomas), Joseph (Bonnie), James Murray (Noreen), Patricia Sherman (Michael), Mary Ann Murray and Cassie Gallagher; and his nephews, Jason (Megan) and Jonathan Kosovski (Kreg Ruhl).

Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Carmelite Nuns 949 North River Road, Des Plaines IL 60016 would be appreciated.
