He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Fleming and Margaret Mary Fleming; his son Captain Barry Fleming; and his siblings, Thomas Fleming (late Sue), Maeveen Jeffrey (late Richard), Sheila Devine (Ed) and Brian Fleming.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Fleming; his children, Thomas Fleming (Janet), Peggi Keller (Nick III) and Patrick Fleming (Maureen); his grandchildren, Major Christopher Fleming, Jennifer Fleming, Amanda Kanevsky (Mike), Major Nicholas Keller (Maggie) and Quinn of Captain Paige, USA; his great grandchildren, Nicholas V, Anne, Barry, Grace, Finley and Abigail Keller; and his siblings, Margaret Mary Pawlowski, MD (late Emil, MD), Dermot (late Jean) and Nonnie Rooney (late John).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Norbert and Our Lady of the Brook Parish (1809 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
