It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Ann Tumbarello of Northbrook, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Malina and Zuzanna Malina (Hrivnak). She is survived by: her children, Stephen Tumbarello of Lorton, VA, Valerie Reed of Palatine, IL and David Tumbarello of Howell, MI; and her friend Jeffrey Elliott. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the New Hope Community Church (1023 E Palatine Rd, Palatine, IL 60074).
