Esther Bien Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2020, at the age of 97, Esther Bien (Northlake, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband William Harold Edelman; her husband Casey Bien; and her siblings, George Backes, Eugene Backes, Millie Schulte, Florence Patterson, Melda Sparth, Karl Backes and Marie Ebnet.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Edelman (Christine), Larry Edelman (Layla) and Gail Williams; her stepdaughters, Barbara Weidig (Jim) and Connie Gonsewski (Len); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Keith, Joe, Liam, Frank, Gregory, Carla, Meghan, Melissa and Ricki; and her siblings, Irene Plantenberg, Rosalie Thomas, Joan Grueber and James Backes. She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren.
