She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Michael Merino; her children, Nate Girard (Kendra Blank), Micala and Nicole Merino; and her siblings, Lois Muilenburg (Jon), Judy Witherspoon, Donna Collom, Bob and Glen Titze. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Ardis passed from complications due to Covid 19.
