With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida Rosmarie Shaw of Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her former life partner Professor; her children, Dion Shaw and Mandy Nickerson; her grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Michael and Mark; her husband Leroy Shaw; and also, Karl Mannaberg and European.

“Rosmarie became my assistant in the Oak Park Law Department in the late 70’s. I was truly blessed to have this extraordinarily competent, kind and genuinely good person join our team at Village Hall. Later on Rosmarie took her talents to the Village Clerks Office where she served with distinction as Deputy Village Clerk We became good friends and remained so forever. I am out of the country and greatly regret not being able to be at Rosmarie’s service. I will be there in spirit. Ray Heise”
