He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Otis and Ima Jane Navel (Auten); and his son Leslie E. Navel. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Elizabeth Conn; his children, Loren E. Navel (Patricia) of Effingham, IL, Lawrence "Larry" E. Navel of Kansas, IL, Lee E. Navel (Doreen) of Oakland, IL, Lyle E. Navel (Cindy) of Hamilton, OH and Lynn E. McBurney (Bill) of Oakland, IL; and his siblings, Don Navel (Linda) of Rockville, IN, Lola Nowning of Jerseyville, IL and Marie Magill of Bloomingdale, IN. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
