We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2020, Steven B. Szigethy (Oblong, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bela Szigethy and Ilona Szigethy; and his son Luis Eduardo. He is survived by : his wife Maria Victoria Szigethy; his children, Xavier, Ilona, Carolyn and Stephen Alexander; his grandchildren, Xavier Joseph, Sofia, Delfina, John, Oliver, Natalie, Noah and Hannah; his cousin Marta Sergeant (Marty); and also, Melanie, Alex, Mike and Kristen.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy may take form of a contribution to the Oblong Public Library or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Oblong.
