Viola Wartsbaugh Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Wartsbaugh of Oblong, Illinois, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry A. Beard and Jessie F. Beard (Anderson); her husband Lloyd E. Wartsbaugh; and her siblings, Clyde, Paul, Virgil Beard, Helen Williams, Ruby Hatfield, Vera Shears and Kathryn Murphy.
She is survived by : her daughters, Sharilyn (Dewayne Alexander), Darlene (Brett Smith) and Karen (Doug Maddox); her grandchildren, Shanna Alexander of Oblong, IL, Joshua Alexander (Jessica Hall), Mallory, Paul Redel of Glendale, CA, Devin Smith of Atlanta, GA and Courtney Maddox of West York, IL; her great grandchild Flynn Redel of Glendale, CA; her brother Samuel; her sister-in-law Glennda Beard of Flat Rock, IL; and her sisters, Thelma Levels and Robinson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that an expression of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to the Crawford County 4-H Extension Foundation or the Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Robinson.
