He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Duncan and Evie (Wolter); and his siblings, Mildred Daughtery, Robert Duncan and James Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Blackwell; his children, Debra Goldsmith (Eric), Cheryl Gaither (Ovie) and Brian Duncan (Trudy); his grandchildren, Jessica Rhymer (Cody), Jeffrey Gaither, Mykala Duncan, Mitch Duncan, Erica Goldsmith and Jennifer Kruse (Tyler); and his cousin Letha Smith (Tod). He is also survived by Three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
