She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shurtz and Blanche Shurtz (Hamilton); her husband Theodore R. Stewart; her siblings, Burl Shurtz, Roy Shurtz, Roberta Nichols, Wilbur Shurtz and Margaret Minor; her grandchild Baby Pierce; her great great grandchild Rory Kocher; and her son-in-law Wilford Pierce.

She is survived by: her uncle Ark; her children, Leon (Donna) and Judy Pierce of Olney, IL; her grandchildren, Cassie Woodford (Dan) and Nathan Stewart; her stepgreat-grandchildren, John Woodford (Tara), Peggy Walker (Dan), Elizabeth Woodford, Susanne Woodford and Rebecca Woodford; her grandchildren, Bryan Pierce (Sherri), Wesley Pierce (Sharon), Renee Berry (Dana) and Stacie Jones (Scott); her great grandchildren, Shurron Goble (Jason), Moriah Pipher (Michael), Bryanna Kocher (Tyler), Maggie Weidner (Cole), Jacob Pierce, Mallory Pierce, Chelsea Pierce, Carlea Atkinson (Justin), Eli Wiley and Pierce Jones; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ryan Seesengood and Ashli Gerber. She is also survived by 14 Great-Great Grandchildren and 7 Step Great-Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
