He was predeceased by: his parents, John Everett and Inez Burgin (Fulk); and his siblings, Mary Burgin, Carol Brown, Una Tarpley, Alice Brooks, Little Everett Burgin, Jr. and Warren Burgin.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Burgin of Olney; his children, Michelle Alumbaugh (Matt) of Olney and Matt Burgin (Kelly) of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Lucas Alumbaugh, Mason, Mitchell, Maya and Molly Burgin; and his sister Diana Burgin of Lawrenceville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
