He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Frank Hunt, Sr. and Sally Ann (Dale). He is survived by: his former wife Melinda Sue Adams; his wife Mel Hunt of Olney; his son Joe F. Hunt III of Olney; and his grandchildren, Izzy Mae Hunt, Maggie Jo Hunt, Joe Frank Hunt IV and Augusta Kathryn Hunt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
