Severns of Oquawka, Illinois, born in Abingdon, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence David and Edris E. Severns (Bowden); his wife Mary Ann Shane; and his sons, David, Jr. and Larry.

He is survived by : his children, James Severns (Bobbie) of Keithsburg, Connie Johnson-Esp (Bob) of Knoxville, Teresa Mullen (Kevin) of Lakeland, FL and Leslie Collopy of Galesburg.
