It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Stubbs of Oquawka, Illinois, born in Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie H. "Sport" and Dorothy K. Stubbs (Dillon); his son Justin Stubbs; his sister Sandra Smith-Lynch; and his brother-in-law Ora Kent-Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Stubbs of Oquawka, IL; his sons, Michael Stubbs (Georgia) of Moline, IL and Richard Stubbs (Joni) of Oquawka, IL; his sister Kathryn Yadon (Donald) of Rock Island, IL; his mother-in-law Carol Thompson of Oquawka, IL; and his brother-in-law Mel Lynch of Monmouth, IL. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson.
