With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph DeFord of Oquawka, Illinois, born in Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert DeFord and Lois P. Senders DeFord; and his daughter Lynn Marie. He is survived by: his wife Heather Marie Johnson of Oquawka; his children, Nathanial J. DeFord of Oquawka, Libby Jo DeFord and Matt Willett; his grandchildren, Ryne and Reanne; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Samuel; and his siblings, Marge, Ronald, Jefferson, Roberta, Esther, Timothy, Kenny, Sherry and Connie. He is also survived by uncle, two aunts, and a number of nieces and nephews.
