He was predeceased by: his parents, Othello L. Carroll and Margaret Gallenbach Carroll; his siblings, Rosemarie Carlson, Patricia Mertz and Raymond Carroll; and his brother-in-law Marvin Schwarz.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma D. Schwarz; his sons, Jon (Jennifer) and Timothy "Tim" Carroll (Sally); his grandchildren, Sara, Sam, Julia and Adam; his brothers, Paul Carroll (Colleen) of Lee's Summit, MO and Bernard "Bud" Carroll (Emily); and his siblings-in-law, Helen Carroll of Plano, TX and Leo Mertz of Shawnee Mission, KS.
Memorials may be made to the church or American Cancer Society.
