It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Roy Stropes (Orion, Illinois), born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Stropes and Marie Stropes; his wife June A. Stickle; and his sister-in-law Sandy "Sue" Stropes. He is survived by: his sons, Derrick Stropes (Leah) of Cambridge, IL and Chad Stropes (Leigh Ann); his grandchildren, Hope, Paige, Chance, Kodi and Rachel; his brother William Stropes; and his close friend Lilian Huddelson.
