She is survived by: her husband Ralph McCarty; her son Scott McCarty (Cindy) of Crystal Lake, IL; her stepson Tim McCarty (Diane) of Belvidere, IL; and her grandchildren, Brandon McCarty (Corey), Kyle McCarty (Candis), Melanie Alexander and Josh Alexander.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
