It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Westerlund (Orion, Illinois), born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on April 30, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth M. Westerlund (Carlson) and Carl Westerlund; his sister Ruby Polzkill; and his brother-in-law Joe Polzkill. He is survived by: his wife Frances L. Miller; his sons, Roy Westerlund of Orion and Randy Westerlund (Laurie) of Lynn Center; his grandchildren, Amy Coziahr (Trent) of Kansas, Nicole Westerlund of Florida and Lance Westerlund (Danielle) of Florida; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Carter Coziahr and Lane Westerlund; and his sisters, Nancy Gainey (Tom) and Betty Selby (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, which Bill was a member of, Orion Volunteer Fire Department, or Orion Booster Club.
