It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wilfred Schwenke of Orland Park, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wilfred Schwenke. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Schwenke; his children, Jeffrey Schwenke of Orland Park and Carolyn Cassady (Ted) of Channahon; his grandchildren, Cam, Sean and Caitlyn; his siblings-in-law, William and Constance Papez; his nieces, Mary Dwyer (Tom), Karen Devore (William) and Terri Schoenhofen (Kevin); and his nephew Rich Papez (Julie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Will County Humane Society or Lightways Hospice would be appreciated.
