We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 97, Gertrude Marion Buikema (Orland Park, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Sr. Buikema and Angeline Buikema (Slater); and her brothers, William, Robert and Ronald.

She is survived by : her sister Laverne; and her sisters-in-law, Gertrude (Werkman) and Ruth (Van Drunen). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their spouses, along with their children and grandchildren.
