With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Eckel of Orland Park, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Theodore Warzynski and Stella Warzynski; and her brother Theodore Warzynski (Joyce). She is survived by : her husband John Eckel; her children, Michael, Karen Langner (Don), Laurie Fuka (Ted) and Michelle Barta (Bill); her grandchildren, Matt, Mark, Amy, Alyssa and Amanda; and her friends, Roger and Cheryl Suda.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27th 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 27th 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Good Counsel Church (16043 S Bell Rd, Homer Glen, IL 60491). An entombment will be held on Saturday, February 27th 2021 at 12:45 PM at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (16201 104th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60467).
