Mary Monahan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Monahan of Orland Park, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Martin John Monahan; her children, Robert Monahan (Danette) and Jean Marie Halweg (Charles); her grandchildren, Cody, Travis Odom, Ryan, Zachary and Rachel Monahan; her great grandchildren, Troy Odom and River Odom; and her sister Jeanne Hubl (Thomas).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (2705 Regent St, Madison, WI 53705). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:50 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary's name to St. John Neumann Catholic Church (formerly St. Joseph Church) in Homewood, IL or Emilie's Fund at Smith Crossing, Orland Park, IL.
