He was predeceased by: his mother Elisa; his wife Mary Sweet (Gage); and his daughter Cherie Sweet (Donovan). He is survived by: his stepfather Michael Aguayo; his children, Lisa Landis (Bob) of Ottawa, Mark Sweet (Norma) of Ottawa and Rhonda Roketa (Dale) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Alexis Landis (Mal) of Indianapolis, Travis Donovan (Erica) of Marseilles, Katie of Marseilles, Taylor of Marseilles, Shane Donovan (Anna) of Ottawa, Benjamin Sweet of Channahon and Drake Roketa of Joliet; and his sisters, Eva Castillo and Mary Jane Hernandez (George).
Memorial contributions may be directed to Honor Flight Chicago, 9701 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 310, Rosemont, IL 60018 of which Jake was able to attend in 2018.
