She was predeceased by : her brother David Helmer Holtan; and her parents, Helmer Holtan and Clara Holtan. She is survived by : her husband John; her children, Jane Evans (John), Kay Chisholm (Craig) and David Zelgart (Sue); her grandchildren, Eric Evans, Scott Evans (Courtney), Julia McGilliard (Mitchell), Karly Kohlstedt (Kevin), Kyle Chisholm, Tyler Zelgart and Ryan Zelgart; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Kay Evans, Hudson John Evans and Avery Kay Kohlstedt.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to Christ Lutheran Church, 41 S. Rohlwing Rd., Palatine, Illinois 60074.
