He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Willard and Christine Willard; his siblings, Joe, John and Marie; his wife Joan (Ruzas); his son Richard; his child-in-law Lara; his grandchildren, Jesse (Pedersen), Addy (Lujan) and Rosie (Bennett); his nieces and nephews, Paul, Peter Dobill, Karen Shalks, Chuck Shalks, Robert, Joe Willard, Terry Millican (Willard), Jonathan, Vicky Willard and Christy Glover (Wash); and his great grandchildren, Brady Lujan, Sam, Gordon, Norah, Kristen and Wesley Bennett.
He was married to Joan (Ruzas) for over 66 years and was a faithful caretaker of her during her final years of Alzheimer's disease until January 2015.
