She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rich Houdek; her children, Jennifer Campbell (David), Brian Abels (Michelle) and John Abels-Kohles (Matthew); her grandchildren, Zachary, Sabrina and Samantha; her parents, Casimir Rekruciak and Evelyn Rekruciak; and her siblings, Thomas Rekruciak and Ronald Rekruciak (Linda).
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerry Funeral Home (7020 W 127th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463).
