It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Schmidt (Palos Heights, Illinois), who passed away on January 7, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John E. Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory (Susan), Mark (Janella), Mary Jane (Michael) and David (Shannon); his sister Dawn (Hughes); and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Hoddinott, Bertram J Hoddinott Jr. and Barbara Hoddinott. He is also survived by his 4 children and their partners; by 6 grandchildren; by 13 great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, the Mass of Christian Burial and later interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation being made, in John's name, to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
