She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Andrew Boonstra, Jr.; her daughters, Karen Smolenski (Kurt) and Kathryn DeVries (Carl); her grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, Emily, Nicholas Smolenski, Jack, Noah and Sophie DeVries; her siblings, Mark Eggebeen (Anne) and Rachel Vanden Bout (Paul); and her parents, Anton Eggebeen and Elizabeth Eggebeen.
Most recently during the pandemic she completed an online course at Trinity Christian College.
