She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen "Moses" Moyer; and her close friends, Vivian Shavin and Karen Potulny. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Toby Moyer and Tiffany Grund (Brian); and her grandchildren, Ashlynn, Owen Grund and Tobin Moyer.
Due to health concerns stemming from the pandemic, a Celebration of Mary Jo's wonderful life will be held at a later date at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road in Lansing, Illinois with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating.
