It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet (Skurka) J. Thomas of Palos Heights, Illinois, born in Whiting, Indiana, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary; and her brother Clem Skurka. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jake Herron (Carolyn), Justin Herron (Stephanie), Brianna Herron, Melissa Fish (Travis), Derek Thomas (Heather), Holly Schroeder (Jacob), Kyle Thomas (Kathleen) and Michael Thomas (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Austin, Isaac, Abby, Amber, Jake Jr., Vinny, Danny, Jayce, Noah, Benjamín, Maddie, Andrew, Will, Jason and Stephanie; and her husband Robert Hull Thomas.
PHASE 4 COVID 19 REGULATIONS; Visitors MUST wear a mask when attending the visitation, loitering is NOT allowed in order to accommodate all guests paying their respects to the family, and the funeral home kitchen is closed to food and refreshments.
