He is survived by: his children, Alex and Stella Melone (Michael); and his grandchildren, Zoe Eleni and Nicholas Walter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Palos Gaidas Funeral Home (11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (7560 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458). A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Bethania Cemetery (7701 Archer Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
