She was predeceased by: her parents, William Levert and Mamie Mae Waters (Taylor); her husband Earl C. Dixon; her children, Ed Dixon and Carol Mathias; her grandchildren, Lisa Bruns Cantrell, Roger Bruns and Danny Smith; her great grandchild Tyler Inman; and her siblings, Lucille Christian, Betty Endris, Dolores Sphar, Bill Waters, Gene Waters and Lulu Belle Waters Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Jane Smith (Wendell) of Ohlman, IL, Marilyn Bruns (Tony Smith) of Herrick, IL and Jim Dixon (Shirley) of Pana, IL; her grandchildren, Gina Inman (Jim), Jason Mathias, Jackie Thompson (Dayne), Jerrod Mathias (Leah), Penny Merrifield (Jared), Jimmy Dixon (Tami), Andrew Dixon (Tab) and Ashley Layton (Amy); and her siblings, Joan Hoehn of Shelbyville, IL and Robert "Bob" Waters of Sullivan, IL.. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; several step great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.
