She was predeceased by: her parents, Mural Lockwood and Viola Lockwood (Cooper); her husband Randal; and her brother Keith Lockwood. She is survived by: her children, Michele Layton of Taylorville, IL and Neil Sphar (Delorse) of Taylorville, IL; her grandchildren, Justin Porter (Jennifer) of Dawson, IL, Amanda Porter of Taylorville, IL, Amber McElroy (Matt) of Maryville, IL, William Sphar of Taylorville, IL, Tyler Sphar (Alyica) of Taylorville, IL and Tori Sphar (Andrew Pilcher) of Taylorville, IL; her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Ava, Ally, Mya, Rilee, Hudson and Isla; and her sister-in-law Sharon Lockwood.
Memorials in Betty's honor may be made to the First Baptist Church of Pana and the family requests that memorials be given in lieu of green plants.
