He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Russell and Edna Russell (Severe); his spouse Elner F. Tipsword; and his siblings, Eldon, Elsie, Rita, Imagene, Jason, Mason, Jenny, Opal, Virginia and Shirley.
He is survived by: his children, John Russell of Pana, IL, Serena Merritt (Joe) of Pana, IL and Peter Russell of Pana, IL; his grandchildren, Joseph Merritt and Kaitlyn Merritt; his great grandchildren, Alice Eckhart and Alaina Price; and his sister Rose Marie Russell.
