He was predeceased by: his father James V. Palmer; his stepdaughter Stacy Battles; and his siblings, James "Jim" Palmer, Herb Palmer, Vince Temmen and Martha Miller.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Palmer (Puckett); his wife Gloria Mundy; his children, Chris Palmer (Kira) of Vandalia, IL, Philip "Cork" Palmer, Jr. (Stephanie), Jon Palmer (Barb) of Herrick, IL and Celena Jackson (Kelley) of Pana, IL; his stepson Samuel "Sammy" Baldock; his grandchildren, Adam Palmer, Alli Palmer, Ashley Keeling (Kevin), Amanda Bratcher (Josh), Samantha Mink (David Wallbright), Gina Palmer (Sean Neville), Terra Sehi (Cody), Jennifer Thompson, Cheyenne Palmer, Josh Palmer, Robert Jackson, Ashley Baldock, Bo Baldock and Braxton Slayback; and his siblings, Wanda Dunmire (Charles), Pam Morrison of Pana, IL, Robin Moomey (Brad) of Owaneco, IL and Judy Rothermich (Darryl). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
