He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Ted McCombs and Gertrude Juanita McCombs (Durant); and his sons, Craig Charles McCombs and Robert Lloyd McCombs.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Evangelical Free Church (1825 N Woodlawn Blvd, Wichita, KS 67208). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at the Resthaven Cemetery (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209).
