It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Bennett of Pawnee, Illinois, born in Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Bennett and Mary Bennett (Winters); his former life partners, Byrel Bennett (Parks-Leach) and Aileen "Dib" Bennett (Fritz-Large-Lane); and his son David Bennett.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy Steel (Fairchild-Bennett) of Winchester; his son Roy Bennett (Laura); his granddaughter Brittany Bennett; his great grandchildren, Savana Bennett, Caydence Bennett (C. J.) of New Albany, Indiana, Bridgette Bennett and Jaxon Bennett of Sellersburg; his child Shirley Lotz (Joseph Lotz); his grandchildren, Naomi Lotz, Sarah Lotz, Dallas Lotz of Pawnee, IL. and Sonya Danielson (Larry); and his great grandchildren, Royce Danielson, Riley Danielson of Henderson, Nevada, Robert Leach, Jr. (Bobby) and Maile Seguin of Henderson, Nevada..
