With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willard John Mellinger of Pawnee, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Johnson and Frances Caroline Seiz Mellinger. He is survived by : his sons, Stephen J. Mellinger (Kay) of Dawson and Jerald J. Mellinger of Springfield; and his brother James M. Mellinger (Nancy) of Arizona. He is also survived by one niece; and cousins.
