With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary E. Allen (Pecatonica, Illinois), born in Newburgh, New York, who passed away on April 2, 2020 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosemary E. Allen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Denniston and Rose Denniston (Brune); her husband Martin Lyle Allen; her daughter Valerie Allen Morrissey; her son-in-law Randall Yankus; and her brother Robert Denniston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Monica Sandahl (Steven) of Moline, IL, Frances Yankus of Rockford, IL, Mary Allen Verdun (Peter) of Byron, IL and Peg Neir (Dan) of Roscoe, IL; her grandchildren, Kristin Rauch (Kevin), Sarah Sandahl (Kevin Allibone), Andrew Sandahl, Ryan Neir (Sara), Rachel Neir, Ross Neir, Dr. Valerie Verdun and Mary; and her great grandchildren, Blair Rauch and Rylee Rauch. She is also survived by many nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family for a future donation to St. Anthony College of Nursing.
