Clarence Leon Filyaw Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Leon Filyaw of Pekin, Illinois, born in Empire, Alabama, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison George and Nitra Filyaw (Brasfield); his son Alan Leon Filyaw; and his grandson Matthew Cook. He is survived by: his wife Earline Levan; his daughters, Janet Thompson (Rick) of Pekin and JoAnn Cook (Jerry) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Jeff Filyaw (Jen) of O'Fallon, Tom Filyaw (Bobbi Jo) of Bartonville, Sarah Hill of Pekin, Christine Foil of Pekin, Doug Cook (Megan) of Anderson and Brian Cook (Ashley) of Savannah; and his daughter-in-law Paulinda Filyaw of Lake Camelot. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
