He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Strubhar and Mary Strubhar (Evans); and his son David G. Strubhar. He is survived by: his wife LaVerne; his children, Eric Strubhar (Stella) of Peoria, Cheryl Oedewaldt (Zac) of Hanna City, Beth Gilmore (Tracy) of South Pekin, Jeff Strubhar (Kimberly Rae) of Miramar Beach, FL, Jerry Simmons of Pekin and Nicole LeFleur (Gregory) of Yuma, AZ; his grandchildren, Eric, Clinton Strubhar, Samantha Hippen, Jacob Hines, Sara Leadley, Alli Simmons, Brandon, Joseph, Zachrey Strubhar, Shaun, Chloe, Baeli Simmons, Emilly, Ian LeFleur, David and William Strubhar; and his great grandchildren, Lilian Allen, Lucas Leadley, Ava, Addison, Brooklyn, Riley Hippen and Bentley Erxleber.
