He is survived by : his children, Christine Lutke (Steve) of Palm Springs, Anne Hocking of Pekin, Lisa Gibson of Lowell, Craig Gibson (Silvia) of Indianapolis, Tom Gibson (Shirley) of Waterloo and Brian Gibson of Lowell, Indiana; his grandchildren, Leslie, Michael, Todd, Alex, Natalie, Ryan, Courtney, Tabitha, Malia, Kai and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Lily, Olivia, Scarlett, Beatrice and Harper; and also W. Sue Gibson of Cambridge, Ohio..

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
