She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard Harper and Rachael Ann Harper (Green); her former husband Earl "Joe" Cole; her husband Robert Adkinson; and her children, Donna Gail Johnston (Clay) of Pontiac, Sandra Kay Murray (Randy) of Pekin, Michael H. Cole (Dixie) of Chillicothe and Chastity M. Duffy (Michael) of Pekin. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
