It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Cole Adkinson (Pekin, Illinois), born in Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on April 26, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard Harper and Rachael Ann Harper (Green); her former husband Earl "Joe" Cole; her husband Robert Adkinson; and her children, Donna Gail Johnston (Clay) of Pontiac, Sandra Kay Murray (Randy) of Pekin, Michael H. Cole (Dixie) of Chillicothe and Chastity M. Duffy (Michael) of Pekin. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
