He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Lamer and Dorothy Lamer (Jones); his son-in-law Jeff Wendel; and his stepfather Walter Evans. He is survived by : his wife Carla Hopkins of Pekin; his children, Jason Lamer (Jaclyn) of Pekin, Jessica Dowds (Rick) of Morton, Leslie Morris (Ryan) of Pekin and Rachel Wendel of North Carolina; his sister Rebecca Doubet (Vernon) of Pekin; and his stepbrother Mike Evans (Peggy) of Manito. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
